The Practice began in July 2015 as the result of a merger between White Rose Medical Centre and Victoria Surgery. This was the result of the forward thinking of the six GP partners who collectively had a vision to develop GP services in the upper Rhymney Valley. Their aim is to ensure that the practice is a beacon of high quality medical care with a focus on a holistic approach and health promotion. They are keen to ensure the longevity of good medical care in the area and as such are a well respected teaching practice which hopes to attract and retain a high standard of doctor.
We have a multidisciplinary team working at the practice across all three sites. This provides you with a choice of services and appointments to suit your needs.

There are three sites where you may see a GP, nurse or health care assistant. White Rose Medical Centre at New Tredegar, Victoria Surgery at Rhymney or Deri Surgery.
There is good access for the disabled to all of our consultation rooms. There are no steps and the main door is wide enough to allow for wheelchair access.
Teaching & Training
As a practice, we are very interested in education and development. Every practice member has regular training, and the doctors are involved in research and learning.
We are accredited as a training practice. GP Registrars come to us during their final year of training to become registered as GPs. Registrars are fully qualified doctors who have been gaining experience in hospital medicine. We value the opportunity of helping to develop the family doctors of the future. We also help train junior doctors and medical students.
